Permaculture Design Workshop
I’ve been a bit quiet on the website / blog front – but things have been ticking along; with various projects in various states of completion… and the world in various states of disintegration!
However; I’m delighted to be a part of the upcoming Permaculture Design Workshop organised by Transition Streets Geelong (as part of a Pick-My-Project grant).
WHEN: Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 1 PM – 4 PM
AT: Vines Rd Community Centre
INFO/BOOKING: http://transitionstreetsgeelong.org/….
Rick Coleman (whom I did my PDC with in 2011) will present, and explain the permaculture design system; along with the ethics and principles that are it’s foundation.
Following this is a “Speed-date a permaculture designer” event with a “room full of friendly permaculture trained teachers/designers from the region with varying amounts of experience and various specialties”. You’ll get to bring along some pics / design brief for free advice and recommendations. Should be great fun!
This even has also given me the kick up the backside I need to update my portfolio of permaculture designs. Since I started the business /designing side of things in 2013, I’ve done a little over 20 designs to date, and I hope to be able to bring some of them (with the client’s permission) along to the workshop above; and also to showcase on the website, as there is currently only one.
If you’re interested in this FREE event; it’ll book out fast I think, so follow the links above to get your spot.
